JB- You say you're following it religiously now. Again, having gone through the experience, do you find that you're quite critical of the performances that the contestants are giving? Are you playing Simon, or are you playing Paula at home? How are you watching the show?
LC- I do that. In my mind I'm making my own opinions. Of course, if someone's in the room I tell what I think each judge is going to say.
JB- Are you drinking, though, like Paula while you're doing it?
LC- Oh, no absolutely not. (laughing) I don't know. I think that all of them are great. It's really weird. Sometimes on TV it doesn't sound as great as it does live. Like Randy will say, "Oh, that blew me away." Whereas people who are watching on TV are, like, "What? What are you talking about?" And sometimes it's the opposite. You think that you sound horrible. I like to judge them and I like to see what I think is what the judges are going to say. That's always fun.
JB- Well, speaking of that, and let's flip back to when you were on the show. Did you ever finish a song thinking, "Oh, that was awesome. That was great. It's going to be nothing but good comments," and then it was the total opposite?
LC- No, this is funny. I never actually sang the song and then right after that thought, "Oh, this was awesome." But I have, like, whenever I picked my song and was really confident about it and I was, like, "OK, they're going to love this," and then I went out there and they were, like, "Why did you pick that song?" But as far as right after I sing the song, there were a million things going through my head. It was never, like, I knew what they were going to say unless it was bad.
JB- What are you thinking about while you're there?
LC- Just remembering my lyrics and watching what camera I'm supposed to be looking at and all that fun stuff.
JB- Would you have stopped and started again if you forgot your lyrics?
LC- No.
JB- What would you do?
LC- Either make up whatever I forgot or just kept going.
JB- What do you think about that?
LC- I don't know. I mean, I kind of agree with Paula a little bit, but then in a sense it was a brave move, and she did what she felt was right and that's all she could do. I don't know. She was up there on stage and nerves are getting the best of you and everything. She felt comfortable starting over, and the good thing was she was only two words into the song. Had she been halfway through the song, then that would've been really bad and TV probably wouldn't have allowed it being that it was live. But I mean, I don't think it was that big of a deal, because she was two or three words into the song.

JB- Did you vote for yourself when you're on the show?
LC- Yes, everybody does.
JB- Really?
LC- Like when you get off the show. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. You wouldn't vote for yourself if you were on there?
JB- I didn't know that you could do that. Tell me then, what happens after a show?
LC- Well, see we're two hours' difference from where I live there, so we would record the show at five and it would actually come on at seven. At two hours after we could actually start to vote, and we all voted for ourselves. Everybody. (laughing) It's just a natural thing. It's just a text message away. They don't know who's calling. You just call and you just punch in your number and you keep voting for yourself. A lot of times it doesn't go through. It's busy, but you can definitely vote for yourself, and I'm one of admit that I voted for myself plenty of times.
JB- Hmm. Wow, so now we're talking about what you're working on, so let's fast forward five years from now. Where will Lindsey be? What will she have accomplished? What will she be doing?
LC- She will definitely be graduated from college, and hopefully selling this wonderful album that I'm currently recording - slowly recording because of school.
JB- Is there a name for it?
LC- I think it will be self-titled. There are a couple options in the air - song titles. But I'm kind of waiting on that, because I don't have all the songs ready for it. So if one comes along that I really love and it's got a great title, then I'll probably make that it. But it's probably going to be a self-titled debut.
JB- It's one of those things like it's a baby. You wait and see the baby and say "does this look like...?", you know? A Joe or whatever?
LC- And once I get that one photo shoot finished maybe we'll have to get a name that goes along with the front cover. Something like that.
JB- And you know, when you look at it an album is exactly like your baby in a sense. It's your pride and joy when you're releasing a CD.
LC- Yeah.
JB- Thank you very much with checking in. And all the best and continued success to you.
LC- Well, I appreciate it. Thank you so much.
JB- Take care.
LC- OK. Bye bye.
