I haven't been able to sleep for days because of this finale. I think this is the hottest final two the show's ever had.

Questions sent to JB from SpeakFree readers

Q- Does Eva look good tonight?
A- I'm not sure. We haven't seen the contestants yet. We're locked away far into the depths of the building where cellphones don't work. It's a crazy land. We get to hang out with them after the show. I'll tell you how she looks after this whole thing is over.  Better yet, stay tuned for the pictures!


Q- Does the press get told who wins before the public finds out?
A- Nope. I wish! We're sitting here watching the show on TVs just like you are.


Q- What happens during the commercial breaks of the show?
A- Probably the same stuff that happens at your house when the show takes a break. People talk and pass the time. In the media room we get more food!
After the question period the reporters went into the other room and hit the laptops and begin filing stories for newspapers, websites, radio and television. Deadlines were tight as the press conference ran long but the question and answer period was great.
Eva signed her contract with BMG and also got a big fat cheque, although, the amount of the cheque was not disclosed even when a media outlet asked how much the deal was worth.
Eva is the next Canadian Idol.

Everybody from the show -- the judges, the finalists, producers and more -- excitedly attend a press conference following the announcement of Eva being the next Canadian Idol. In what was deemed as the biggest Canadian Idol season ever, Eva is sure to make one of the biggest winners ever!
